This will sound wild at first but I love the concept of a “simulated hunt”. In fact, one social media star has coined this idea but gets a few things very wrong. His name is Brian Johnson, or as you might know him, The Liver King. Also just a small trigger warning, we will be breaching the subject of hunting and eating raw meat. If these things make you uncomfortable, I suggest you read no further.
Let's start with what I think he gets right. The idea of a simulated hunt is such a good idea I've actually incorporated it into my diet and exercise routine. It’s an insanely simple ideology too. I’ll explain my mindset and I think the logic and practicality of this will make a lot of sense.
The liver king takes his “simulated hunts” to the extreme by doing insane HIIT-type cardio. For those of you who don’t know, HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training. Basically, it is short training sessions where you do things like sprints, lift weights with very little recovery time between sets, or any kind of intense fast-paced workout. These are great workouts and everyone can benefit from doing them, just don’t copy the Liver Kings workouts. Remember this is a man who is on tons of performance-enhancing drugs, you are a normal person who hopefully does not.
He also eats raw meats which are so unhealthy and dangerous. This man takes his simulated hunts way too far and consumes 10,000 calories a day. A normal person can’t process 10,000 calories. The liver king takes multiple cycles of steroids so his body is able to turn…
